　　This summer,my family took a car journey to the south of China where there was a famous resort(胜地) by the sea.

　　去年夏天，全家开车，海边度假。

　　With whom you went to:

　　My uncle lives and works abroad. He rarely gets the chance to go home because his workis very demanding(高要求的). Recently however he was able to take a few weeks off, so he came back.

　　我有一叔，人在国外，牛逼哄哄，近期回国。

　　Why you had the journey by car:

　　My uncle had told us about a plan he had to take a long trip through the country and all of us agreed. He said that it had always been his dream and now we are going to share in it.

　　叔有计划，开车越野，他的梦想，我们分享。

　　What you did in the trip:

　　We all packed our bags and he rented a vehicle large enough to accommodate all of us. He volunteered to drive the first few miles but since it was a long and exhausting drive for just one man, he and my father took turns on the wheel(驾驶).

　　打包行李，租辆大车，叔和我爸，轮流驾驶。

　　The resort was everything it promised to be and more(名副其实). There were many activities for us to do like the usual sightseeing and picture taking. We also got the chance to try scuba diving(水肺潜水), snorkeling(浮浅) and parasailing(帆伞运动).

　　沿途美景，名副其实，水上运动，观光拍照

　　我有一个学生说过一个趣事：他们开车驾驶途中，看到一辆车屁股冒烟，赶快逼停此车，车主这才发现车尾出现了自燃，赶紧灭火，避免了一场事故。最后大家成了好友。这经历也是没谁了……

　　How you felt about it:

　　Since it was the first time we had a trip by car, we felt so excited that we made as much noise as we could. We were all singing, telling jokes and sharing stories.

　　首次自驾，不亦乐乎，说学逗唱，载满欢笑。

　　除了兴奋，还可能是长途跋涉的疲惫，遭遇恶劣天气的沮丧或者团队合作解决问题的舒畅……
