　　Some people think that printed books are no longer necessary in this digital era as all writings canbe stored electronically. Others think that printed books still play important roles. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. 有人认为纸媒书籍不再重要，因为在数码时代所有文章可以电子储备，有人认为纸媒书籍依然可以发挥重要作用，讨论两种观点?

　　【头脑风暴】我们已经从互联网时代进入到无线互联网时代，微信、微博、电子书的流行极大地改变了人们的阅读方式。一种新事物的流行必然因为其优势，有其不等不流行的理由。但是，传统的纸媒阅读没有，也不会因为电子书的流行而退出历史舞台。

　　① 纸媒书籍永远是有市场的，因为人们改变不了千百年来形成的根深蒂固的阅读纸媒的习惯。

　　② 电子阅读是快餐式的阅读，纸媒书籍更有收藏价值。纸媒书籍便于学习，例如考试用书，可以标注。

　　③ 电子阅读因为其环保、低价、存储量大、便于携带、制作精美成为传统书籍有益的补充。

　　Reading has a key role to play in people’s relaxation. Sure enough，it is not rare to see that theenormous popularity of electric equipments, such as iphone and ipad, keeps on soaring. Many people prefer to read e-books rather than the traditional paper books. Hence, people differ greatly in their views as to whether or not the printed books will be still of great necessity. As I see it, paper books could never be substituted because of their unique merits.

　　【二段】第一次支持作家立场

　　Primarily，although it is easy to acquire and utilize e-books, it is far from easy, for millions of people, to change their deeply-rooted habits of reading paper books. More precisely, numerous people insist on browsing paper books in traditional way because they can take notes in the blank of a page. A hard truth can justify my stand. Traditional books were often predicted to be replaced by new technology such as the Internet or smart phones in the past several decades, however, this prediction has never been realized until now. Similarly, traditional books will not withdraw from the stage of history due to e-reading.

　　【三段】第二次支持作家立场

　　What I would like to add is that a newly published book or magazine could best stimulate one’s reading impulse for the simple reason that a great many readers enjoy the fragrance of paper book and can feel the sense of ownership when holding a book. Unlike using e-books, which is just a sort of fast-food reading, traditional reading enables people to have an in-depth thinking and thus enhance their literacy.

　　【四段】谈及对立观点的合理性

　　Indeed, there must be some reasons to account for the popularization of e-reading. Seen from the positive aspects, e-books not only provide words, illustrations and pictures that traditional books have,but also add sounds, moving images and cartoons that printed books cannot offer. Another merit of e-books is that they can be eco-friendly because less paper will be needed. Last, electronic libraries cannot only save more space but also store more information.

　　【尾段】再次亮明观点 + 总结理由

　　To sum up, it is my view that under no circumstances can we ignore the immense value of print books and magazines. Printed books and e-reading are not mutually exclusive, for they enjoy respective merits. Therefore, both of them will co-exist, e-books can be a beneficial alternative to traditional books.
