描述极限运动超好用词汇

　　blood type 血型

　　medics 医护人员

　　wrap oneself from head to toe 从头到脚包裹起来

　　gear (某一特点活动的)设备，服装;作这个意义讲是不可数名词哦!!

　　resort to 诉诸于……(某种不得已的方法)

　　以下都是滑板妈妈采用的防护措施

　　bags of marshmallows tucked into the back of my pants 棉花糖包塞在裤子里

　　bubble wrap 泡泡包装纸

　　stuffed animals 毛绒公仔

　　athletic background 运动背景

　　uncoordinated adj. 身体不协调的

　　slowly but surely 稳扎稳打地(surely除了表示“当然”还有这一用法哦)

　　Barbara: I have to tell you when I started again about ten years ago, I actually used to write my blood type on the top of my skate shoes, just in case the medics might need it. But for the most part, we wrap ourselves from head to toe in our gear and at times I resorted to bags of marshmallows tucked into the back of my pants, bubble wrap and stuffed animals stuffed into a backpack, all sorts of crazy things.

　　She's a mom of four adult children and she's fifty. She started with no athletic background to speak of and she admit she was pretty uncoordinated, but she had a very patient, loving boyfriend. They are now married. And he helped her along and she started slowly but surely. Just recently, in the couple of weeks, she's devised this contraction where she's basically on some sort of bungee cord and she's learning new tricks with the safety harness on.
