2020年5-8月雅思口语part2新题预测:重要旅程延误

　　Describe an important journey that was delayed

　　You should say:

　　When it was

　　Why it was important

　　How it was delayed

　　And explain how you felt about it

　　范文：

　　我跟我的闺蜜约好从不同的城市出发去日本旅行，但我的飞机却从早上六点半延误到了晚上六点。等到机组人员昨晚一切准备工作后，当天晚上七点钟我才登上飞机。但还好此次航班延误并没有对我们的旅行造成太大影响。

　　Last April, me and my friend Anna decided to go to Japan, because both of us have been huge fans of anime(日漫). We planned to go to some manga exhibitions in Tokyo and Kyoto, take photos in kimonos(和服) and try some authentic(地道的) Japanese dishes. But what we didn’t expect was that my flight was delayed(航班延误).

　　This trip was important for me, because me and Anna have made it a routine to travel at least once a year—it has been our way of bonding(发展关系，维系关系)d. You know, we live in different cities in China, so this trip probably could be called the most precious time we spend together.

　　If my memory serves me right(如果我没记错), the flight was scheduled to depart at around 6:30 am that day. I don’t remember the exact time now, but I am pretty sure it was really early in the morning. That day, I washed up(洗漱), packed, and went to the airport, only to find that my flight was delayed. Words on the screen of the lounge said that the flight I took was delayed, but didn’t give the exact landing time. I waited and waited until it was time for lunch and finally heard the announcer said that the flight would take off at 6:00 pm. Since I was already in the lounge and it was lunch time, I had no other choice but grabbed a combo in the McDonald’s inside the airport, and it costed me twice as usual. What was worse was that the flight didn’t take off before the stuff member cleaned it up and finished their pre-flight check(航前检查). It finally took off at 7:00 pm. Luckily, Anna didn’t blame anyone for this, and our trip was satisfying.
