[01:56.72Official: Hello, Tourist Information Centre, Mike speaking, how can I help you?
[02:00.98Woman: Oh, hi.
[02:02.54I wanted to find out about cookery classes.
[02:05.51I believe there are some one-day classes for tourists?
[02:08.70Official: Well, they're open to everyone, but tourists are always welcome.
[02:12.32OK, let me give you some details of what's available.
[02:15.66There are several classes.
[02:17.65One very popular one is at the Food Studio.
[02:20.45Woman: OK.
[02:21.81Official: They focus on seasonal products, and as well as teaching you how to cook them, they also show you how to choose them.
[02:28.35Woman: Right, that sounds good.
[02:30.15How big are the classes?
[02:32.17Official: I'm not sure exactly, but they'll be quite small.
[02:35.11Woman: And could I get a private lesson there?
[02:37.69Official: I think so ... let me check, yes, they do offer those.
[02:43.03Though in fact most of the people who attend the classes find it's a nice way of getting to know one another.
[02:48.22Woman: I suppose it must be, yes.
[02:50.91Official: And this company has a special deal for clients where they offer a discount of 20 percent if you return for a further class.
[02:57.19Woman: OK.
[02:58.52But you said there were several classes?
[03:00.98Official: That's right.
[03:01.46Another one you might be interested in is Bond's Cookery School.
[03:05.16They're quite new, they just opened six months ago, but I've heard good things about them.
[03:09.64They concentrate on teaching you to prepare healthy food, and they have quite a lot of specialist staff.
[03:16.55Woman: So is that food for people on a diet and things like that?
[03:20.91I don't know if I'd be interested in that.
[03:23.68Official: Well, I don't think they particularly focus on low calorie diets or weight loss.
[03:28.57It's more to do with recipes that look at specific needs, like including ingredients that will help build up your bones and make them stronger, that sort of thing.
[03:38.70Woman: I see.
[03:39.77Well, I might be interested, I'm not sure.
[03:43.31Do they have a website I could check?
[03:45.64Official: Yes, just key in the name of the school - it'll come up.
[03:49.45And if you want to know more about them, every Thursday evening they have a lecture at the school.
[03:54.32It's free and you don't need to book or anything, just turn up at 7.30.
[03:58.75And that might give you an idea of whether you want to go to an actual class.
[04:38.94Official: OK, there's one more place you might be interested in.
[04:42.30That's got a rather strange name, it's called The Arretsa Centre - that's spelled A-R-R-E-T-S-A.
[04:53.62Woman: OK.
[04:54.65Official: They've got a very good reputation.
[04:57.07They do a bit of meat and fish cookery but they mostly specialise in vegetarian dishes.
[05:02.67Woman: Right.
[05:03.91That's certainly an area I'd like to learn more about.
[05:07.46I've got lots of friends who don't eat meat.
[05:10.24In fact, I think I might have seen that school today.
[05:12.77Is it just by the market?
[05:15.30Official: That's right.
[05:16.72So they don't have any problem getting their ingredients.
[05:19.33They're right next door.
[05:20.92And they also offer a special two-hour course in how to use a knife.
[05:25.74They cover all the different skills - buying them, sharpening, chopping techniques.
[05:31.00It gets booked up quickly though so you'd need to check it was available.
