2024年9月雅思口语新题part2&3: 描述一个你去过的能看到野生动物的地方范文　

　　Describe a place you have been to where you can see wild animals.

　　You should say:

　　Where the place is

　　When you went there

　　What animals you saw there

　　And explain how you felt about this place

　　I'd like to describe Wolong National Nature Reserve, a wildlife sanctuary in Sichuan Province, China. It's located about 150 kilometers northwest of Chengdu, in the Qionglai Mountains.

　　I visited Wolong three years ago in late spring. This was an excellent time to visit as the weather was mild and the vegetation was lush, providing ample food and cover for the animals.

　　Wolong is world-renowned for its giant panda population, and seeing these iconic animals was the highlight of my trip. We were incredibly lucky to spot two giant pandas in the wild. One was climbing a tree, while another was leisurely munching on bamboo. It was a surreal experience to see these rare and endangered animals in their natural habitat.

　　Besides pandas, we observed a variety of other wildlife. We saw golden snub-nosed monkeys swinging through the treetops and heard their distinctive calls echoing through the forest. There were also several species of pheasants, including the colorful golden pheasant, strutting along the forest floor. We even caught glimpses of some shy takin, a goat-antelope native to the region, grazing in a distant meadow.

　　I felt a profound sense of awe about this place. The experience of seeing giant pandas and other rare animals in their natural habitat was both thrilling and humbling. It gave me a deep appreciation for the biodiversity of China and the importance of conservation efforts.

　　The reserve itself was breathtakingly beautiful, with its misty mountains, dense forests, and rushing streams. I felt a strong connection to nature and a renewed commitment to environmental protection. Visiting Wolong was a powerful reminder of the wonders of the natural world and the crucial need to preserve these habitats for future generations.
