2025年9月雅思口语新题part2&3：首次尝试的兴奋活动范文

　　Describe an exciting activity you have tried for the first time.　　

　　You should say:

　　What it is

　　When/where you did it

　　Why you thought it was exciting

　　And explain how you felt about it

　　I'd like to talk about the first time I went bungee jumping, which happened about a year and a half ago at a tourist spot near Guilin during a weekend trip with some friends.

　　We were visiting the area mainly for sightseeing, but when we saw this bungee jumping platform built over a beautiful valley, my friends dared me to try it. I'm usually pretty cautious about extreme sports, but something about the stunning scenery and the encouraging atmosphere made me think "why not?"

　　What made it so exciting was definitely the height - we're talking about jumping from about 60 meters high with nothing but a cord attached to your ankles. The anticipation was incredible. Standing on that platform, looking down at the valley below, my heart was pounding so hard I could hear it. The instructor was very professional and kept reassuring everyone, but still, the idea of voluntarily throwing yourself off a cliff goes against every survival instinct.

　　When I actually jumped, I felt this incredible rush of terror and exhilaration mixed together. Those few seconds of free fall felt like an eternity, and then when the cord caught me and I was bouncing up and down, I couldn't stop laughing and screaming at the same time.

　　Afterwards, I felt this amazing sense of accomplishment and euphoria. I was shaking from adrenaline for about an hour, but I also felt incredibly proud that I'd pushed myself out of my comfort zone. It's definitely something I want to try again, maybe somewhere even higher next time.
