　　在雅思写作的Task2中，首先要做的一件事就是选定题目。

　　如果在写作时选错了题目或是跑题，这会影响你的分数。

　　How do I identify the topic?

　　在雅思写作中，题目会提供一些影响社会的问题让你讨论。因此要仔细阅读题目，确定要讨论的问题。

　　通常情况下，你需要先找出1-2个关键词。

　　先来看下面的题目，What is the issue?

　　The crime rate among teenagers has increased dramatically in many countries.

　　Discuss some possible reasons for this increase and suggest solutions.

　　读完可以确定“teenage crime”是topic。

　　What if I identified ‘crime’ as the topic?

　　如果作文只是泛泛的写'crime'，那就不对了。一旦确定了topic，你的作文就要围绕这一topic展开，描述特定的area,people,place...

　　这个题目时想让你谈谈"TEENAGE crime"这一问题。

　　确定topic之后，要仔细想想是否可以将这个topic的范围缩小。

　　1. 'Telecommuting' refers to workers doing their jobs from home for part of each week and communicating with their office using computer technology. Telecommuting is growing in many countries and is expected to be common for most office workers in the coming decades. How do you think society will be affected by the growth of telecommuting?

　　5. Blood sports have become a hot topic for debate in recent years. As society develops it is increasingly seen as an uncivilized activity and cruel to the helpless animals that are killed. All blood sports should be banned. Discuss the main arguments for this statement and give your own opinion.

　　6. A growing number of people feel that animals should not be exploited by people and that they should have the same rights as humans, while others argue that humans must employ animals to satisfy their various needs, including uses for food and research. 　　7. Forests are the lungs of the earth. Destruction of the world's forests amounts to death of the world we currently know. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

　　9. Zoos are sometimes seen as necessary but not poor alternatives to a natural environment. Discuss some of the arguments for and/or against keeping animals in zoos.
