　　Describe a friend you haven't been in contact with for a long time but who you would like to see again.

　　You should say:

　　how long you have not been in contact

　　when you would like to meet him or her

　　what you would like to do together

　　and explain why you haven't been in contact for a long time.

　　Ok, well if I’m gonna be completely honest with you, there are quite a few friends of mine who I haven’t seen or got in touch with for ages, because I’m not that good at keeping in contact with people, which I know is not something to be proud of, and I’m trying to get better at it.

　　But anyway, regarding who it is that I’d like to talk about, well, after thinking about it just now, I thought a good choice would be my best friend from primary school, who I haven’t been in touch with for about 10 years, so I think it would be really great to meet up with him again.

　　And as for what we would do together if we met, well naturally, I think the first thing I’d like to do would be to have a nice long chat with him, because obviously there would be a lot to talk about and catch up on, seeing as we haven’t been in touch for so long. So I guess we would probably go for lunch or dinner somewhere, and if he wasn’t pushed for time, I would probably take him to one of my favourite bars for a few drinks afterwards.

　　Anyway, finally then, you might be wondering why I haven’t stayed in closer touch with him, and basically what happened was that he moved to another city shortly after finishing primary school. And to begin with, we did actually stay in pretty close touch for a while, but as time passed by, we gradually kind of just lost contact, probably in part due to the fact that I was super busy with my studies throughout all of middle school, as I guess he was too. So it certainly wasn’t my intent not to be in contact for all this time, and if you had told me back then that I wouldn’t be in touch with him for so long, there’s no way I would have believed you!

　　So yeah, I really hope that sometime soon there might be a chance to meet up with him again.
