like vs dislike

01 be fond of something/somebody

例句：

I'm really fond of photography.

I've always been fond of my cousin.

02 I'm not fond of

例句：

I'm not fond of spicy food.

I'm not fond of getting up early.

03 to be keen on something/doing something

例句：

I like different sports, but I'm particularly keen on tennis.

I was keen on going to the party, despite the terrible weather outside.

04 to be not keen

例句：

I'm not keen on jogging.

I'm not keen on being told what to do.

05 I'm not a big fan of

例句：

I'm not a big fan of football.

I'm not a big fan of noisy parties.

06 something is not my cup of tea

例句：

Theatre isn't really my cup of tea. I prefer going to the movies.

Bilibili isn't really my cup of tea. I prefer reading books.

07something is not my thing

例句：

Jogging isn't really my thing. I prefer playing tennis.

例句：

例句：

To be honest, I tend to leave things until the last moment.

Agree vs Disagree

01 Definitely/Absolutely/Exactly

例句:

Absolutely! It's better if young people are allowed to make their own mistakes.

02 I couldn't agree more

例句：

Q：Is it important to have the same hobbies and interests when making friends?

A：Yes, I couldn't agree more. I think that people connect when they share mutual interests.

03 I have no doubt about it

例句：

Q：Are kids happier than adults?

A：I have no doubt about it. They have less responsibilities and are given more liberty to say and do as they please.

04 Well, that's not the way I see it.

例句：

Q：Do people have extra time for themselves nowadays?

A：Well, that's not the way I see it, people tend to be very busy these days.

05 I'm afraid that's not always the case.

例句：

Q：Are television and newspaper still useful?

A：I'm afraid that's not always the case. They may still have their value, but they are obviously not as popular as they were before the days of cellphones, apps and social media.

06 I'm not so sure about that.

例句：

Q：Do you think younger people should be less paid than older people?

A：I'm not so sure about that, it really depends on the profession, the qualifications and experience of the individual and the position in the company that they hold.
