【写作思路】

开头段：转述题目

主体段：分两个小段落，分别对比就业比例差别较大的制造和教育领域，以及其他领域。

总结：在所统计的4个领域中，制造领域的就业比例有明显的减少，其他领域变化不大，虽然在教育领域中，女性的就业比例明显大于男性。

【参考范文】：

The table illustrates the percentages of male and female employment across four sectors: catering, banking, manufacturing industry, and education, during the years 1986, 1996, and 2006.

Within the manufacturing industry, male employment started at a relatively high level of 32% in 1986 but declined to 21% in 1996 and further dropped to 17% in 2006. Women’s participation in this field was consistently lower than men, with a continuous fall from 18% to 6% during the same period. By contrast, in the education sector, female employment was reported to be significantly higher than male, with figures of 33%, 35%, and 38% for the respective years. Male employment remained relatively low in this area, ranging from 13% to 15% across the three years.

In the catering sector, women consistently represented a slightly higher proportion, maintaining a steady 26% throughout the years, while male employment started at 16% in 1986 and rose marginally to 22% in both 1996 and 2006. For the banking industry, both male and female employment experienced substantial growth. The proportion of men employed in this field rose from 11% in 1986 to 20% in 1996, reaching 21% in 2006. Women's participation increased by 7% throughout the two decades.

Overall, manufacturing industry saw the greatest decline in employment rates, while women dominated education sector.
