You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

Write about the following topic:

Many of today’s urgent problems can only be solved by international cooperation. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

建议思路： I tend to disagree

不可否认，现在很多紧急的国际问题都需要各国合作才能得到解决。

1. 环境问题是一个全球的问题，靠单个国家无法完成，所以必须靠大家通力合作才能解决。例如紧急的酸雨防备等，及时地合作和告知可以有效地避免临近国家遭受伤害。

2. 一些灾害的支持，需要全球合作，例如地震，山火等问题，本国的力量和物资有时会不足。这就需要世界各国施以援助之手。尤其是对于贫困地区，更是要援助更多的人力物力。

但是并不是所有的紧急问题都只能由国际层面解决，还需要个人行动和法律法规。

1. 不论如何合作解决问题，如果个人不行动，环境问题就不能从根本上得以解决。

2. 并不是合作了就能解决问题，政治差异、经济差距和不同的国家利益可能会阻碍国际合作。因此，培养全球意识，促进各国之间的相互理解和尊重也很重要。

In today's interconnected world, addressing urgent global challenges demands collaborative efforts among nations. While I acknowledge the significance of international cooperation in resolving critical issues such as environmental crises and disaster relief, I contend that individual actions and national legislation also play pivotal roles in tackling these concerns.

Undoubtedly, issues like environmental degradation transcend borders and need collective action. For example, problems like acid rain prevention demand coordinated efforts to mitigate their adverse effects. International cooperation in sharing knowledge and resources could prevent neighboring countries from suffering potential harm. Similarly, in times of natural disasters such as earthquakes or wildfires, global assistance becomes imperative, especially for regions lacking adequate local resources. Offering support from across the globe can be a lifeline in such distressing situations, particularly for impoverished areas.

However, not all urgent issues are solvable solely through international collaboration. Individual commitment remains indispensable in addressing environmental challenges effectively. Regardless of collective efforts, individual actions are vital in tackling the causes of environmental degradation. Furthermore, political disparities, economic gaps, and conflicting national interests can impede international cooperation. Thus, fostering a global mindset and nurturing mutual understanding and respect between nations are vital to overcoming such obstacles.

In conclusion, while many urgent issues require international cooperation, it is not the sole solution. Individual initiative and effective collaboration between nations are also crucial in addressing these challenges comprehensively. By collective efforts with individual responsibility and promoting mutual understanding, the world can make substantial strides towards resolving urgent global concerns.
